Antonio Bunt

Antonio Bunt started in photography while enrolled in the Communication and Public Relations BA at the Universidad Latinoamericana in his native Mexico City. Afterwards, by joining the Quía Común photographic group in 1999 he started experimenting with the creative possibilities of the alternatives processes, 19th century techniques and pinhole photography, an interest that continues to grow. Among numerous courses and workshops in photography and cinema, Bunt holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from the National School of Visual Arts (UNAM) and a Specialization in Identification and Conservation of Photographic Archives from the National Anthropology and History Institute Conservation School. Also trained as a filmmaker, he is devoted to independent film projects and has given lectures in several venues such as universities, colleges and cultural centres. His photographic and film work has been exhibited in national and international galleries, participating in collective and individual showcases.
